near to me there is a stretch of road with about 5 cameras within a mile or so ,i have always wondered if i sped through all 5 would i get 5 tickets?

Yes you certainly would, I've heard on phone ins and the papers people in a hurry getting 12 points in one short journey. Each is treated as a separate offence, and boy, does it pay them dividends!

You should only get 5 tickets if you reduce speed to posted limits between each camera. If the offence timestamps prove that you were speeding for the whole route, without slowing, then you can argue to treat the offences as one.

Why not try it out and let everyone know, if you want to speed then you are foolish enough to get what you deserve!
