My elder daughter was born in August 1966, in the middle of "Flower Power" I thought I would get her "CD" of the era. has anyone any suggestions. thanks.

Lots of sites with chart suggestions here. Maybe take her taste in music into consideration when choosing a CD's worth. You;d have to find out how to legally get the tracks though.

I do not know, maybe you can get these CD's commercially.. I do see year CD's in card shops etc.. But suspect that those are not just music.

Maybe I'm being a bit picky, but I'd say 1966 wasn't 'the middle of flower power'; That started really in 1967 and hit maximum in 1969 with Woodstock.

Still some excellent music about in '66 though and you've already got some good recommendations
