Sandy - my two sometimes start the shouting and bullying not long after midnight. I have some treats in my room to give them to shut them up. But once you start feeding them...............
Is there no way that your dog and the cats can call a truce? Most dogs seem to love to chase a moving cat but are more likely to accept a gently introduced cat. Dogs are (to me) more predictable than cats. Cats are pretty evil fighters.
