I am getting message on screen saying "This computer will soon stop receiving Google Chrome updates because Windows XP and Windows Vista will be no longer supported"
For someone who is not a computer geek would someone be able to explain in simple English what it means. Can i continue using my Windows XP and ignore these scary messages? Thanks.

Microsoft has ceased up-dates for XP but has extended support for Vista until April 2017.
Providing you have a good Anti Virus programme which supports XP, you can carry on using your system without any worries. Two good free AV programmes are Avast & AVG.

1) Do as suggested by hc4361.....Install Firefox as your Browser.
2)Make sure you have a good AV Proramme. There are lots of free ones which still support XP.
3) Forget about Microsoft and Google who wish to abandon XP; which was one of Windows best Operating Systems and is still be used by thousands of Commercial Organisations.
