Does anybody know how to get the jelly consistency in redcurrant jelly? I've made several batches and mine are always very nice tasting, but really are just a jam consistency with the seeds removed.

add more pectin.
Add Gelatine ?
Eddie, gelatine doesn’t stay set permanently. If you make a jelly and keep it in a sealed container, it will gradually un jellyfy.
How long are you intending to keep the Jelly for ? Gelatine will certainly keep 'set' for a year or more.

It will all be used within a year. I don't think it needs more pectin as redcurrants seem to set very easily - in fact it becomes a little too thick. Perhaps I'll try some gelatine next time, although setting is not the problem, i's the consistency. Thanks for the comments
