Am i the only one who cant stand daphne, how many times does she say she doesnt know the answer and then surprise surprise her guess is right. then you get the sarky laugh !!

clara I absolutely can't stand her although I think we're in the minority. She's viciously competitive and the smiles of compassion for the losers is so fake. I'm always screaming at her.

You'd never know it from watching the program, rereading the above maybe I prefer Daphne.

I need subtitles for her, can't understand a word she says, anyway she's gone now, these are old programmes.

Why don't the BBC label their programmes with the series/episode number like some other channels - perhaps they think we won't notice they are repeats.

We couldn't stand her either. Hated the way she had to nod or shake her head when someone else answered a question, as if it had to be up to her to verify their answer.

Watched an old episode of Bullseye last week and who turns up?....Daphne!

She's been on just about every quiz show from the 70s to the 90s.

She annoyed me once when, during the final round, she and her fellow Egghead were discussing an answer. He explained the reason for the answer for the sake of the audience and as filling for the editors, and said "I do know that, you know!"

She and CJ are equally smug and annoying, and the reason I stopped watching.
