Unfortunately, F-F, it's probably worth their while posting spam links even if they're zapped within seconds.

Their aim probably isn't to directly promote the sites that they're linking to but to get loads of links to those sites all over the internet. They know that:
(a) Google's web crawlers constant check sites like AB for new posts ; and
(b) Google pushes websites up its lists of search results based upon the number of links it finds to those sites.

So simply posting lots of links to particular websites all across the web will see them more prominently featured when people search Google for the products or services which they're offering. (It's a crude, but possibly effective, type of 'search engine optimisation').
Ed should put a bounty on them like they used to have with squirrel tails...
shoota - collect their gonads?

There has to be a way of preventing them from creating an AB account in the first place.

I can't remember, when starting an account on her, do you have to type in a code to show you aren't a robot?
