right to ownership
i repair vehicles for a living. a vehicle has been in my care for two and a half years. the vehicle came in with engine blown, the owners could not afford the very high repair costs at the time. in the meantime they have moved address, changed phone number etc, no contact with them for two years. i decided enough was enough and applied for registration document in my name. because dvla have contacted them over change of ownership now they turn up and expect me to purchase vehicle from them. i could ask for storage costs i guess, which at todays rates would be more than value of vehicle. what are my legal rights to claim ownership of said vehicle.

if they try to take you to court they will get very short shrift. coz they no pay their bil in full.
