Cxf Files

Having just had a new computer Windows 10 and finding my way around it have come across les which are cxf but not letting me open them. Message comes up asking me which app to use but nothing happening. Is this something with this new system I am using.

Another problem is when wanting to print something the document is downloaded into my document file and then I send to Word and print from there. Trial and error at the moment even with the book for Dummies for Seniors.
Any help with handling this machine now much appreciated. Big change from my XP system

A file extension of .cxf is usually associated with Google PICASA. See:-

Regarding download and print, presumably you refer to accessing and attempt printing a document from a website via your web browser. If so, what sort of document extension types are you accessing and attempting to print e.g .doc , .pdf ?

thanks for the cxf file help and what I was trying to print was a document and a utility bill which took be ages instead of just pressing print

It may be worth ensuring that you have Adobe Reader installed to facilitate reading and printing of PDF file type documents which may have been the case with the utility bill.
