yes i haven´t got a smart phone yet, but i am debating if i should really get one. i see people all the time looking at them, so is it easy to download stuff with them, or do you need to buy an expensive one to do this?

How much do you want to spend, piggy?
Or get a contract phone. My iphone6 isn't cheap, I think £30 pm, but it's unlimited.

thats more than i expected, it looks like i´m going to buy the same phone as a friend of mine(dont see him all that often) he paid around 65 euros(50 quid) from vodafone, he pays 11 euros a month contract, 200 mins free calls, and i´m not sure what else. maybe i should check the vodafone website
Sounds good, piggy :)

ummm, who is your contract with? Unlimited 4G data is usually expensive
The daughter got me a Smartphone at Xmas. It's marvellous for all the things it can do that I don't understand and for somehow increasing my monthly bills. I do however like the larger keyboard...
Question Author
its with Vodafone
O2...it's a works phone so I don't pay for it. It's actually wasted on me. I do browse the internet but usually that's on free wifi.
Question Author
sadly orange cant match it, thats who i am with now.
Your company got a great deal, ummmm. The cheapest iPhone 6 (16GB) with 3GB data is £46 a month + £10 upfront. I'd never pay that sort of money for a smartphone
How much do you want to spend, piggy? Or what phones are within your budget on Orange? I think you're in Spain
Question Author
well hc4361, i dont want to spend more than i would need to at vodafone, yes i am in spain
I'm confused now - who are you with, Vodafone or Orange?
In any case the first thing is to talk to your current provider to see what sort of deal they can offer you as an upgrade, assuming you are in a contract with them.

If you're not in a contract, have a look at the Windows phone and the Android phone I linked to earlier if you want to buy outright. I don't know what SIM only deals are available in Spain but if you can get Giffgaff they are very cheap.
Question Author
sorry for the confusion, i´m with orange, but was looking at vodafone because orange cant match them. even though i´ve got a contract with orange.
will look at giffgaff, cheers.
hc..I don't understand all the GB thing but my son has informed me that we do have a data restriction and that O2, because I don't or won't use hardly any data, they transferred half my data allowance to his number.

Shows how much attention I pay!!!

:D
Is it using the internet outside a free wifi area that uses up data? Or watching youtube/films?
thanks alavahalf,....sounds like you really need a smartphone! I, on the other hand, don't :)

ummm, accessing the internet for anything including emails when you are not connected to wifi uses data. YouTube and iPlayer just uses a lot more
