How do I find out a SIM card mobile number?

I have to put a replacement SIM card in my phone and as I have had it sometime cannot remember the number, is there any way to find out the number easily. It is an 02 card in and O2 X2 phone?

there probably is a way on the phone. However a quick way is to ring another phone and see what number get's displayed

Good idea Loosehead, unfortunately I didn't mention there is no credit on the sim card, and so can't top it up until I know the number..May thanks though......Dynie

even with no credit you should be able to ring another phone, just don't answer it.

on many networks these days you need a minimum credit to even make a phone call even if it doesn't connect - must have been losing those poor networks money.

It is possible to find out from the phone but its differnt for every phone, if you can't find it you could always go into a phones4you or carephone warehouse etc and ask them to pop it in the sim card reader - this would probably tell them (though i'm not 100% on that sorry)
