Hba1C Result Doctor Wants To See Me I Didnt Think It Was That Bad 66

Hi there
I recently had my diabetic check and I got the results and the doctor wants to see me to discuss diabetic control on 4 x 500mg metformin a day. The result was 66 which I didnt think was that bad . Last time it was 55. I dont really want to take any more tablets for it. I am sure it is my diet that is causing the problem. I had actually expected it to be a lot worse!!

When you go in to discuss mention you are still struggling diet wise. They should hopefully have someone there to better inspire you or maybe there are local groups you could attend, often more encouragement that way.

Your average has gone up from 7.2 to 8.2. If your diabetes is properly controlled it should be around 7.

See your doctor and have a chat. Promise to do better with your diet and see if he agrees.

I was at the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he said anything under 58 is okay so 66 is a bit on the high side.

I can't talk as my diet is awful and my weight is scary but my results were 53.
