Free Audio Burner

I was having problems with windows media player and some of you guys recommended VLC media player, which was as you said, a million times better. Can you recommend a free audio burning program.
I was using windows media player for burning but VLC doesn't seem to have this option.

VLC has the built-in capability to 'Burn' files to DVD via a Streaming process.

Please ensure that Burnaware does not include Open Candy. OC is being bundled with some freeware and it's not obvious if one can exclude it from the installation (if at all).
