How Can I Believe In God?
4 Answers
How can i believe in god when i see people get bullied and harrassed, watching the world colapse from the inside out, seeing murderers and rapists getting away and pedophiles as well, seeing good men and women suffer and die for no reason while the rich and evil live on, we are supposed to believe in some god that everyone has a purpose but nothing makes sense, we are supposed to believe in this crap about everyone has a plan, was its god plan for someone to die in the line of duty who has a family, was it his plan for a 4 month old baby to get cancer and die a horrible painful death, how can anyone believe in that, i cant just believe in something man created and has killed thousands and thousands of people for, just cause. I cant believe in an all powerful god who gave us freewill but a set of ever changing rules to live by and if we dont we get sent to hell, like what the hell, here is your freewill live your life cross your fingers you dont get raped and killed and if you break my rules have fun in hell, worship me and only me. I just dont understand and it doesnt make sense to me, and theres no proof to confirm or denie the existence of said god nor does anyone know how god came to be, where are the other gods who created god, some please help.

His purpose is not for us to know, but it is because of man's sin that the world remains outwith a state of grace that true believe would grant us.
Personally, I don't buy into God, but the cornerstone of the concept of faith is to believe something you cannot know, or prove.
I have no problem not believing in God at all.

Why would any of the above prevent you in believing in a deity ?
You think one would inevitably continually intervene to ensure you are doing as you should ? Why ? You don't even have a good reason as to why a deity would have created you and others so how can you make limits on what a deity should and should not do ?
You think it is crap then. In which case why ask the question as your mind is made up ?
You insist everything is mapped out exactly and there is no responsibility for what each of us does ? In which case where is the justification for folks having minds rather than being unfeeling automatons ?
The physical world is what it is; you take your chances and accept what happens. Or you end up feeling bad about it all.
How are the rules ever changing ? You're here to get on with it.
Instead of getting depressed about that which isn't clear to you why not live your life as best you can, set a good example, and await whatever revelation comes along during your existence.
