Heinz Mayonnaise

Does anyone know why you can get Heinz Mayonnaise in Sachets from restaurants but you cannot buy it in a bottle from a Supermarket??  All supermarkets sell Helmans, their own brand etc

I know exactly what you mean. I've tried for years to get Heinz Mayo as it taste so much better than Hellmans but can't find it anywhere.

I do remember someone asking a similar question about 8 months ago and was told by another Ab'er that you could get it in Tesco's - But certainly not in my local one

You can get it in Ireland if you really, reeeally want it....

We used to have this when I worked at a Bakers shop for the filled rolls etc.Our boss used to get it from the cash and carry.
But it was in huge tubs which are a bit unsuitable for use at home as it would go off quickly unles you eat loads of it.I would imagine that most cash and carry places stock it.It is much nicer than Hellmanns.

dont know what area you are in but all the supermarkets in london that i go to stock it.

I haven't noticed their sandwich spread for ages.  Is that still made?  I used to love that.

They've been selling it in Farm Foods lately, �1 for a big jar.  I'm not sure if Farm Foods has regional stock variations though, as it's a discount shop.  Anyway, definately is the best mayonaise!

I wish I did. I have been able to get it from my local Tescos up until about 3 weeks ago now I can't find it anywhere. If anyone knows where I can buy it from I would be very grateful as I think its the best! Also my kids loved the squeezy sweet and sour sauce and that has also disappeared without trace. :(

I think it is time to get all our friends, who like Heinz Mayonnaise, like what us do, to contact Asda, Tesco, and all the other supermarkets we use.

And ask them to stock Heinz Mayonnaise....

And point out the one who does is on a winner, because there is money to be made and customers gained so HELLO SAINBURY's :-)

My friend has to pay BurgerKing 10p a time to get a sachet of Heinz Mayonnaise. BurgerKing and HEINZ are not going to moan, they have the best of both worlds.......

Yes you can get it of ebay in a 2kg quantity, but you need to keep checking as it is verry rare and it might not come up again. Id check every day !!!!!! I do
