ive had no help from the tech:section so trying on chatterbank with this...
we live in a high rise building 160ft on the top floor.my mobile network "three" is poor being ok near the window in on part of the room next the other window is only just showing on the reception icon, moving around the place it varies from ok to none could it be all the many aerials transceivers and god knows what else on our roof that is causing this ?. three coverage web site says my area is excellent for 3 and 4 g which i have,
anyone got advice please

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I am far far from being really knowledgeable on the subject but I do know that radio waves can be very directional and a foot either way from 'direct line of vision'', from transmitter, can make a difference between receiving or Not receiving a signal. One can move in front of a window to a position whereby a corner of something, such as another building, can come in the pathway of a signal. Furthermore, one might move to a position whereby electrical cables embedded in a wall can cause an interference.
