Lack of religious tolerance, no matter what justifications, are a step backwards for any society. So I hope no one does. I suppose it depends on how much money can be made.

One could hardly claim such a widespread belief can be labelled a religious cult that needs to be nipped in the bud. Now if one can identify an evil faction one might be able to target them alone.

She is in the business of organising asylum and resettlement in Poland for Christian refugees from Syria. The group she leads, ‘Ester’, is backed by Polish charities, churches, and businessmen. When she says that //Islam as a totalitarian system and the Koran, which preaches hatred, violence and legitimizes crimes.// she does have a point, but I have no idea if there are any brave lawyers among her supporters who would be willing to back her. I somehow doubt it.

It seems there is no shortage of legal folk willing to assist:

I'm not sure how you could even hope to gain a court ruling to ban a religion??

I don't know about other countries but here I'd expect it'd have to be done in parliament. Maybe the law already exists allowing for groups to be nominated for banning and added to an existing list (by the courts) ? Just guessing. I assume she knows what she's asking for is possible.

Perhaps, yes. You hear about people being prosecuted for being a member of a 'proscribed organisation' in this country but this seems a tall order to ban a religion completely. Even if she were to succeed you can't take away people's beliefs and Shaded may have to become a protected species!

Presumably "Ester" refers to Queen Esther, of the Old Testament. The book of Esther is a celebration of a massacre.
