Car Tax Radio Advert

Anyone heard it. Big Brother style. A computer telling you cannot hide anywhere, even in the country, cuz he knows you are there. Is this what the world is coming to?

About time too! Why should some pay and not others. I do subscribe to the idea that the road tax should be put on petrol so the more you drive the more you pay and everybod pays.

Does anybody else think that this is a very erie government choice to put this advert on? It has impact but I agree that it does add more to the Big Brother Is Watching You feel which surely the government would want to repress. I have only seen the TV advert but it is quite chilling to think that your government is watching your every move. I realise that it is only for car tax purposes and that they aren't really watching you for this merely recording it on a database. But the statistic that every person is captured by 23 different cctv cameras every day.

Maybe I've thought into this to much but I have recently read George Orwell's 1984 so am thinking about its relevance today.
