How To Surprise A Dinner Guest.....☺

Some time ago I decided to make some sweeties.....using felt, stuffing and beads....as you do.
The finished product now sits on a plate in my dining room which, as regular visitors will know, is very black with subdued lighting....

Tonight I cooked for a friend.....yes, Tony....I cooked.....and as he relaxed after complimenting me on my culinary skills....well he brought lots of wine so I'll grant that could have had something to do with his feeling of mellowness, I went to make coffee.....

That's when I heard the spluttering and gasping noises......

My guest had helped himself to one of my "chocolates"

They are very pretty. This reminds me of when my mother arrived to spend Christmas with us and put a large handful of pot-pourri in her mouth from a display bowl on my coffee table :-)
