Yes. He isn't actually all that good, although better than most people. I believe that he was so-called by his radio listeners (Liverpool was it?) and was imported. The 'Tremendous Knowledge' bit is probably an embarrassment to him and best dropped quietly.

I noticed! I cannot stand Jeremy Vine and all these nicknames he is calling the Eggheads now. Barry the brain - Lisa the Voice etc.
But TK Dave did come with this nickname and Vine used to call him that a lot when he first joined - which is why we have had a lot of it in the last couple of weeks as they were repeats of about 3 years ago. Vine does not do it so much now (thank goodness)
