On a side issue, I found myself watching Channel 4s "New Life in the Sun" yesterday, and was absolutely convinced that 'Kirsty' was narrating it.

A bit of investigation and it turns out I was wrong, but it must have been someone from her street.

Gosh! Very seriously creepy.

Don't want to bore on, but one's cooking skills (i.e. mine in my case) were one of the first things to be undermined. Still a little insecure and twittery about timings and just beginning to bake again.

Who is writing this stuff? Whoever it is needs an award.

I must admit I'm beginning to lose patience with this now. Yes, I know this sort of thing happens over a long period of time in real life, but perhaps not in fiction? I've seen lots of posts on a Facebook link that people have stopped listening, but i'm still hanging on in there. Perhaps there will be a conclusion this week (she says hopefully).

Unfortunately I think it is horribly realistic, which is probably why they spent so long giving helpline numbers.

On the one hand I would be more comfortable if it came to a cosy resolution, but then it would be wholly unrealistic.

My best guess is that Rob, who is clearly mentally ill, is facing an ruddy huge fall when the Village gets to know what he is doing.

Ages ago, I mentioned David Copperfield. This has an even nastier twist - and that's just after the omnibus! Poor Helen, really thinks its all her fault.
