Can anyone please tell me in which race and on what day and horse she will be riding? I've tried googling, but only get loads of results about how she is beautiful and the bookies might be a bit worried, but will be lucky to get round the course.
Does she have hope of being placed, at least?

Thanks aelmpvw.
Do any of you think she has a chance? The horse looks ok.

Thanks also, Dannyk.
I feel sorry for the jockey that would normally have ridden the animal. It's like being told he's not good enough (and probably never will be). After all, the owner and trainer aren't going to turn down the chance of a Cheltenham Festival winner by putting up an inferior rider, are they?

I agree, Thesecondlaw. A bit like the poor sap who was put up as Flintoff's opponent when he tried his hand at boxing.

I agree Cloverjo. The Stewart family who own the horse & the trainer must have got money from somewhere in order for an amateur to ride it IMO.
Judging by the prices, the bookies appear to be of the opinion that the most likely outcome is that she does not get round. Whilst wishing neither rider nor horse any ill-will, i personally hope she rides a stinker and does not enjoy the experience one iota. There are amateur riders of long standing who will never experience a ride at the festival and for the Olympic Cycling Gold Medallist to be fast-tracked into this race does absolutely nothing to promote the sport.
Sycamore3House @ 14;14. Just noticed your post. The Foxhunter's Chase is for amateur riders only.
