New Zealand leg of lamb £7 Asda. New Zealand Leg of Lamb Waitrose £29. Apart from price, why the difference?

We use them on an almost weekly basis, if we go elsewhere we spend roughly the same and get an inferior product.

We only went to Asda cos Gin was reduced(!!) and then had a look around as you do, realised why we usually go to Waitrose and even Tesco, and then we saw the lamb and couldnt believe it. Tasted OK though a bit tougher than usual ...
Smurfchops I bought a leg of lamb from Asda, real bargain.
Perhaps the Asda lamb is frozen and the Waitrose lamb is not frozen
My lamb was not frozen. But coming from N Z it must have been.
