If you've got a micro-SD card it should have come with an adapter so that it can fit into a standard SD card reader. You could then transfer the files to the micro-SD card first

then remove it from your tablet, place it into the adapter and into your computer's card reader (or into a USB card reader if your computer hasn't got an integral one), allowing you to access the video or copy it elsewhere (such as to a memory stick).

I wasn't suggesting using a card reader on your tablet. My suggestion was to transfer your video file to a micro-SD card. If you only want to keep a copy of it as a back-up, that's all you need to do. (A micro-SD card is just as good a means of storage as a pen drive, etc). If you want to play it on a PC then you can do so by using that PC's card reader (or by inserting a card reader into a USB port on the PC).
