Please can anyone help I have today spent a good hour cleaning my oven now I used the usual oven sprays and left the oven door open to ventilate it as I remember last time the first couple of times I used it the food had a taste about it that I just didn't like.
I have heard about putting a lemon in it infact lots of little titbits but please I don't want that awful taste again thank you all so very much , I just love this site so so helpful.

Why don't you turn it on for half an hour without any food in it? That might help to 'burn off' the taste.
Can I recommend the cleverly.me link....it really works !
well i am glad it works but that is a faked video. when the hand scrubs at the dirty door, you can see that the sponge is moving above the dirt and not scrubbing it at all and at the end you can see that the fan at the back is immaculate. Now cleaning a fan is a dismantle with a screwdriver job....
