best exercise for waste and somach....

but not sit ups I am crap at them. I just need to lose a bit of weight and tone up round the waste any ideas?

Believe it or not but running actually tightens your stomach as long as u move your arms as u run, u could also try holding a light weight in both hands and twisting round from left to right but keep abs tight well doing this,if you do a few lengths of swimming a day that should also help your stomach..good luck!
Those air walker things are good. Because its like running and you move your arms aswell. Tones top and bottom half.
How about Pilates? It's not great for weight loss, but it does tone you nicely. I'm not the thinnest person in the world by a long way, but I've got a nice waist!!!
