Sunglasses, Is There Such As A Thing As An Affordable Good Quality Pair?

being blue eyed, i am so sensitive to the sun, and all the sunglasses i've bought have never been up to scratch. i've spent a small fortune, usually buying ray bans, or at present, police. apart from not being all that protective against the sun, they tend to break easily.
any suggestions

Used to get our Parka's from Cookes Army Navy stores, long gone now though.

These days, Army & Nave stores are now quite expensive for authentic gear and the fake stuff is real tacky rubbish!

Disappointed in the last few I have been in.

anyway gettign back to the subject of sunglasses, i'm torn between zeis and dirty dog, it looks like zeiss are a serious company, they recommend you personally paying a visit to one of their outlets to see what pair suits you. might pop into one shop today, and if they're too pricey, hopefuly get the same pair on the net.

last word on army+navy stores, the shops in coleshill+harborne, are run by tw rider, and the shop in burton is called springfields. but i dont know if the quality is the same as it was in the 80's

Morning piggy. The link I posted to av for mean&green takes you to a good site if you are looking for something specific. They will also mail a catalogue you enter in your details, I have had good service and product over the years from them. They do not blitz spam you out either. I have passed them on to mates etc who have asked where I got particular items from and they were pleased too. I do a little carp fishing and have used them for clothing items for wet or cold weather.
