National Lottery Farce
The prizes in yesterdays draw were:
3 Stars - won you £25
4 Stars - won you £51
5 Stars - won you £15
Should the lottery be taken off Camelot and run by someone who knows what they are doing as a not for profit organisation?
(For the record, I didn't buy a ticket)

The problem is the guaranteed prize for 3 numbers, that can in theory eat the whole pot, even the jackpot. The way to fix this is to offer true proportioning for all the prizes.
Let's hope the state would do better than the first one attempted .

"TTT, the £25 for three numbers is not guaranteed, it is not likely to happen very often but there is a possibility of a lower amount being given. " - fair enough TCL but £25 was paid this time thus the prizes are distorted. The prize for 3 numbers would have been much lower if they had truly proportioned it.
