Do you enter magazine and TV competitions and enter your phone number?
Are you fed up with answering your phone on the off chance to be told your a winner, only to be confronted by a call centre.

We get calls from Microsoft engineers in Switzerland , like we used to in the UK.
They blurt a load of Swiss German down the phone and I pick up the words Microsoft blah blah. I then ask them to speak English. This can go two ways , they either say , sorry I only speak Italian , French , German or they repeat in English. I do wonder why someone who speaks all those languages works in a call center trying to rip people off ? Suppose the money must be good.

Just to add my wife had a fake Microsoft engineer call a few years back in the UK and when she told them to go away , the Indian chap told her "All English women are Who*es and .... When she told me what he said I reacted the wrong way and creased up laughing :-) ...But i'm sure it would have frightened some people.
