funny how everyone here is one of two numbers....'the record is stuck, the record is stuck.'
69 for me;-)
Those sort of tests always overestimate and flatter. I used to get to expect it when I was a youth and enjoyed those IQ type tests.
I got 168 but I have just let the peas boil over.........again! :-(

I got 168 in the global top 2% now I'd be a right fool to believe it
tried it 168.....there are too few questions to separate the scores.....
168 a glass or two.
an England T20 score for the final or even higher perhaps, 188 would be nice, Togo.
I must admit I have taken quite a few IQ tests, for different reasons, mostly work related. I have always scored very highly but for some reason it doesn't prevent me from being stupid at times. :=[]
True dt. Hope you and mikey enjoyed lunch. I did ask him where you were going to eat on the early thread, but he must have missed it. Sorry to divert looo. Good post.
If you do a GMAT, Togo, (Grad Management Aptitude Test) for Business Schools, you soon realise that there is an enormous difference in verbal, mathematical and logic reasoning and that can explain why two folk have the same Mensa score but very different intellectual/reasoning profiles - that happened with my ex and myself.
Tilly has an IQ of 168 and peas on the cooker.
My batting venue, Togo, here..... http://www.miners-arms.co.uk/ and very good it was too, home-made steak and kidney puds, meringue/berries/C.ice cream for me, whilst Mikey pigged out on a trio dessert plate.
I know what you say dt. I have done Swedish military tests, Australian Canadian, and allsorts aptitude tests, on and on. Good scores, still daft. I think it is more an attitude than aptitude thing. Lol.
the GMAT wears you down - 4.5 hours of papers....bang, bang, bang as they clobber you, start at 8.30 finish at 1pm.
I know it dt. I cant help thinking that I have probably been in there when you were there. We stay at Porthtowan regularly and have been in for both lunch or evening meal many times.
my printer is in Porthtowan, up at Mt Pleasant, the biggest earthen building in the UK......last time I was in the Miner's until today was my 60th.

We had been on the beach at St Agnes, my gddaughter's fiancé having never been to Cornwall before and between them all four min cockers - who had a blast. It was a Sunday and we arrived early - only one thing for it, was to park opposite the phone box, crack a bottle of bubbly and open pressies, a second bottle in the pub and 2 cheese plates before disappearing back here to pick my mater up and the main beano at my sister's at Greatwood (nr Mylor).

One more, if you want some ode or something to remember your Millie, let me know - bullet points on her loves, life, character, interests etc and I'll cycle it from there. My throwaway is in memory of nungate at [email protected]
