Knitting Needles - Best Invention Ever

The brace I am wearing on my neck comes half way up the back of my head and oh boy does it get itchy underneath. For weeks I have been using the nearest implement to hand to have a good scratch.
This morning I had a particularly bad itch, and with hindsight, using a razor sharp fish filleting knife was probably a mistake. My head has now stopped bleeding.
Anyway, after searching, I found my bag of knitting needles and after experimenting, I have found one that is just right for the job.

OH was plastered ☺ a while ago and she raided my workbench for a large Cable-tie 'cos it was a bit more flexible than a knitting needle.
