..I look at my items for sale and it might say for example 'viewers 134/watchers 26'.....can someone explain the difference and how it works. thanks

134 people have looked at your listing; 26 people have looked and click 'watch this item' so they are notified of any bids and can find it easily in their 'watch list'.

134 have looked at it. 26 have 'saved' it to keep an eye on it

Thank you very much. I've never bought at auction on Ebay, just sold, so I've never been a viewer or a watcher, now I understand it.

I used to get really excited when I had a lot of watchers. However, be since learned that a lot of watchers does not necessarily equate to a lot of bids, although sometimes it does. Good luck with your sales.

In real terms it means 134 people have viewed your item and 26 people are selling a similar item and are just being nosy to see how much it will sell for
