They have a tendancy to get fat, and can suffer from heart and breathing problems, but are very friendly
Yep, they are very commonly affected by a spectrum of breathing problems, and are prone to eye disease.

They also don't like getting hot, ie, out in the hot sun or in cars. I have an 11 month black pug and he is adorable. He has the odd moments when he seems to be trying to catch his breath, sounds a bit like when we have catarrh in the back of our throats.

They are wonderful with small children. He can be a bit of a humbug at times. A bit like having a 2 year old child. We had Mastiffs for 14 years and they never chewed a thing, Rocky has already had a go at the chairs. They are very sociable dogs and do not like being left on their own.

Contact the Pug Dog Club. The Club's puppy register is a list of contact telephone numbers of members who have puppies for sale.

Breeders with puppies on the register have been members of the Club for a minimum of three years.
