Bathroom Conversion

I have a shower over my bath and am finding it very difficult to get into the bath to use it. When my friend had her bathroom converted for the same reason the plumber told her she could get a government grant to help with costs. Like her I am and OAP but do not receive any other benefits than the pension. Does anyone know if this grant is still available or how I can find out please.

Phone your local council, they should be able to tell you.
