One night I explained something to him. He said why would you want to do that? I asked what he meant. He replied, why would you want to spread poached salmon over your legs? I was speechless, I know impossible for me. I couldn't relate the reply to what I had said, but he is very very deaf, so I must make allowances.

Did he not mistake eggs for legs? That could explain it.
