Alas “Ladies’ Days” seem to have degenerated somewhat in recent years and now “Yobettes’ Day” may be more appropriate. You can, of course, expect it at Aintree as these pictures adequately demonstrate. However the degeneration seems to have spread to Epsom, Goodwood and Ascot as well. In the words of the former boxer Dave “Boy” Green (the “Fenland Tiger”) “They ain’t got no class!”

The same thing happens over here at the annual Queen's Plate. However, it's held during the Summer, so the weather is a little more conducive to having a gay old time.
