D (and E) Chord(s)
OK, once again I have come across I chord I cannot find the name for. It is D but without the G string (!) played. So, bass to treble 000032. Anyone know anything about the E chord last year I somehow came across? It was E with an added G on the top E string, so 022103. Someone suggested it was soemthing like 3add#9 or something. Cheers

As for your E chord it's Eadd9+ (if in the key of E).......or one of the following.....G#m7M/5+/E.......G6add9/E (no5).......Bsus4add13/5+/E.
Hope that helps!
