But in all honesty, those public servants who failed to do their jobs ought to be sharing that sentence amongst themselves. Her mother (a total contradiction in terms) deserves a bullet to the back of the head and a shallow, unmarked grave, noting less.
No doubt there'll be a few Lord Longfor's who'll eulogise otherwise......
No doubt will be reduced on appeal by tax payer scum lawyer. This woman is a prime case for the death penalty, even with the min 24 years she will still be young when she gets out and enjoy a life she viciously denied the toddler. Evil, sheer evil. And yes, heads should roll in the SS, but they wont - and if they do they will get a hefty payout like that other awful SS...
Poor child didn't even get stale bread for for last week of her awful life. Plenty of pictures of the mother not looking in the least bovvered. Not showing any remorse. Unbearable.
She has to serve a 'minimum' of 24 years, so hopefully she won't get off earlier. I didn't think the 'stepfather's' sentence was anywhere near long enough. And I totally agree with you Chill.
I was talking, this afternoon, to the mother of a son who is a social worker - he is aghast that the child was handed back to the 'mother' and says that it should never, never have happened under the rules. Poor, poor child. Do they never learn. Victoria Climbie etc..
