I bought three packets of bulbs recently and some of them are sprouting leaves in the bag so need planting out today.

Is there any special advice I need to know about where and how to plant them?
Do I need to add anything to my soil. I have bags of very well rotted manure but do all these bulbs benefit from adding it to their planting position?

Some may prefer a different soil type. Please advise today if possible but I will also have time to plant them tomorrow it you are reading this on Sunday evening. Many thanks.

Instructions will be on the packet. No need for manure unless your soil is very poor and sandy
Freesias will come one year only you need to buy new corms each year. Iris and gladioli will give you years of pleasure, I palanted mine in miracle gro compost and they have been great for 5 years so far
