Homegroup Problem
I've just set up a homegroup network, (win10), this morning and everything joined ok. Went out for a couple of hours, came back and woke both laptop and main pc up, only to find when I tried to connect it says both unavailable. Is their a method to fix this I've tried a couple of tweaks via you tube but no change. Many thanks in advance.

I've been doing some tests and if you go to Network & Sharing centre via control panel/ network & internet, open- top right "Change adapter settings" Right click Wi-Fi and hit "properties" a box appears with the tab "sharing", open this and the check box at the top should be clear. It needs a check put it in. This should open up your network. Good luck

Thanks Timberup,
That was a fix on youtube, I tried it but no joy. Another which seemed to work temporarily was to go into c/panel - system and security-system-change settings, clicked on it then also on network id and selected home, not business, (default setting), computer followed instructions. which allowed me to connect, but it seems to always default back to business. So I think I have to find a method through this.

This suggestion might almost sound facetious but I assure you that it's sincere:
Have you tried turning everything off COMPLETELY (i.e. by disconnecting the power, rather than just using an on/off switch), waiting for a minute or so and then turning it all back on again? (That suggestion particularly applies to your ROUTER). It's amazing how often it works (including for me, just a few days ago!)
