iPad problem. Just had email warning me my mail quota is full and I need to delete messages. I have deleted contents of some folders but my sent folder has hundreds of messages going back to August. I try to delete all, but they keep coming back saying cannot send to trash. I can delet individually but that will take hours, any ideas folks please?

Hi caran, on my iPad i would go to sent messages and click on edit, it will then give you a 'delete all' option.

Hope that helps

Tried that silliemillie, it just says cannot move messages. I did it manually last night. What a job! But each time it said unable to move messages even though it did it!
What a stupid iPad!
Wow, I don't envy you that job! Yes iPads sometimes have a mind of their own don't they?!
Can you clear the trash first (assuming that there's nothing in it you might want to recover)?
Some women; handbag, car, iPad - all full of trash :)
