password to access a favourite

Is there anyway a single, (or as required ), favourite can be passworded, leaving all others free access. I am referring to the favourites on my task bar. Thanks

If you're using Windows XP you can have different user accounts for the computer. Each user needs their password to start up the computer. Alternatively, you can have a user account for yourself (with a password) and everyone else uses the "Guest" account (with no password). You can then have Favorites for your account only, the other users can't access them. At the same time you can have Favorites for all users which can be accessed by anyone. Your Favorites are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Favorites and Favorites for all users are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites .

Koster, thanks for the info and advice. I suppose it is asking too much to have individual control at all times but there's nothing like asking Hard@it
