I had picked out what I wanted from the ground floor, somI gave it to the girl on the till and I asked would it be ok if I went upstairs? "Oh yes, yes, of course, no problem" So I went upstairs and within 30 secs one of the girls appeared and started "tidying up".I was so angry I went back down and said "I'm not a thief" in my stern, cross voice,..then I announced I wasnted to buy the £40 desk/'bureau from upstairs. Well, they both went to pieces then, apologising for upsetting mde, but they had lost a lot of stock through shoplifing pf later
I'm not surprised by the BHS news. I last went in there a few years ago, I think to buy a pair of gloves for my mum - not having found what I wanted in every other shop in town. It was dismal. Dreadful clothes, poorly displayed. It was grim. I couldn't wait to get out.
I don't know who they're trying to sell to.
