Alternatively, of course, you could simply ask local schools and colleges if they could lend you one. (Very few educational establishments use blackboards these days, with whiteboards or computer projection technology being far more common. However many schools/colleges will probably still have blackboards and easels stored away somewhere). Then all you need is someone with a van to move it for you!
