My daughter is on 'weed' and it's getting worse , she takes more and more and has terrible mood swings and is always asking for cash . I have found the address of the 'dealer' she gets it from. What is the best way to report this dealer? I used 'crimestoppers' a year or two ago to report a previous dealer she used. Is that still the best way, or do you know a better way? I don't think much happened as a result of my first report.
I once phoned police to report something I knew re drugs. They said they already knew about this person but were watching them. They were hoping to find the ones higher up the chain.
Grass...they want the big dealers, the importers. Some bloke selling £20 bags of weed are small fry and a waste of police hours. It's not worth the paperwork.
EDDIE, I'm a bit late to the question and dont have any answers but just want to say that I hope things work out.
My own son smokes weed (never been my, or his mums, drug of choice) but personally I would be more worried if it was something harder. I'd rather he smokes a bit of weed than go down my own path of alcohol addiction or worse.
From my own observations/experience (friends and family etc) the novelty of grass wears out after a time.
i don't know if there is a best way. calling police on the drug dealer doesn't really solve anything it is just changing who she gets it off and the next one could be worse. as your main concern is your daughter aim towards what you can do with her to get her off it would be my best advice.
