Does anyone know how to contact BT in UK by phone and talk to a person who speaks english please, not being racist just can't understand a word anyone says :0(

rosy, I do sympathise.....I use the online chat function....its free, and there is no accent issue with the written word.

There are loads of free and cheap numbers according to why you are calling. Hope it helps. It is a good site anyway to avoid expensive costs of phone calls.

Thank you both for your very helpful replies.I do usually use live chat whenever I can on any site Woofgang but in this instance I need to speak to someone-(nightmare at the best of times ) personally. Your suggestion looks very useful grasscarp Thank you both again :0)

I empathise with you on this one.....if live chat is unavailable I just phone their call centre and ask to speak to a representative in the UK.....works every time!

That is why I switched from BT to PlusNet couldn't understand a darn word they said. Daft thing is BT offered me a different number to call in future that would connect to someone that could actually speak English if I stayed with BT but as they had already given me the run around for two months I'd had enough
