He must be getting better he was so grumpy! Everything I took for him he didn't want. Can't be bothered with newspaper, don't want sweets, don't want playing cards.
No doctor phoned as expected so I rang and spoke to senior nurse. He did have keyhole and no they did not remove three ribs, they had to do something with the third rib while they removed the top lobe of the lung. When I told him this he said he knew that. I reminded him what he said last night about full op and three ribs being removed. He denied he said it grrrrr.
He still has very low blood pressure which they are monitoring every two hours even through the night.
He had a little walk round earlier but said it wasn't easy as he was still attached to the drip so had to move drip stand around at the same time as carry lung drain contain round with him.
Had a nightmare journey home. Got within sight of tollbooths on Severn crossing near Chepstow when they put cones across the road, if we had been one minute earlier I'm sure we would have got through. No warning at all, no road closure notice. We had to go all the way back and go through Gloucester.
Got to try and find out if the bridge is open tomorrow but don't know where to start.
