I am setting up a social group for senior citizens. The Council has kindly offered funding of £5000. My concern is that I need correct formal accounting procedures so as to avoid corruption and mis spent funds. Does anybody know if there is advice on this out there? Many thanks.

Thank you.

The Council will supply information.

Future funding options will be via application to those bodies which the Charity Commission has indicated are inclined to support. In addition, liaison work will be initiated with private benefactors such as individuals and local businesses.
