The Great British Menu

Lots of you must have been watching this programme on BBC - is anyone as intrigued as I am that the judges have not changed their clothes over the several weeks the programme has been running? Can anyone offer an explanation?

lol i know elspeth!! jenny bond is forever in that hideous purple rig-out!!! surely it cant have all been done over one day?? no-one can eat that amount in one day!!!!

It is for continuity. If a part has to be filmed again on another day, it is not a problem.

With regards to the Great British Menu judges and Jenny Bond wearing the
same clothes all the time, it is our understanding that this is a common
practice in such television formats for people to be asked to wear the
same clothes to allow for adaptability of shots and gv's (general views)
during the editing process. The programme may show images of the judges
in action which might not be specific to that week's menu, rather are of
a generic nature. If the judges wore different clothes every week it
would become much more difficult to manage the overall look and
continuity of the programme, therefore the judges have their chosen
'uniforms' for the show.

Thank you Suzy for the explanation - sounds reasonable - but how many hours did they spend in those clothes??!! I was inclined to move further away from the television set ......

Oliver still looks grubby in his pink and burgundy ensemble.....nice touch of Jennies to match her lippy to the brightest part of her outfit too.... am I being too picky now lol
