What Implications Would It Have On The Rest Of Europe If The Austrians Were To Appoint A Far-Right President?

Nope...I had the good manners not to mention your name. No-one needed to know I was referring to you. As I didn't intend to name anyone, it's not down to me to prove or disprove my position.
Suffice to say - anyone who posts daily threads where he criticises his own country, and countrymen is someone whom I believe hates his country...gravitar notwithstanding.
But leaving that aside, I don't think Austria's vote holds much in the way of implications for the rest of the EU. We need to remember the polical implications region by region, and country by country. Simple fact is that local influence (with regards to country-specific drivers) are not 'Euro wide'.

well for a start - the Austrians ( or should I say Australians - apparently there was no Australian eurosong entry last week but there WAS a host there who couldnt read proper ) dont appoint a president - but elect him
and secondly - they have done it already . Wasnt a predecessor [Kurt Waldheim], an ex-nazi ?
